Because Ram 2500s are factory 4 linked on the rear, you can't just add a normal traction bar kit, as it would bind with the existing factory 4 link and cause major failures. That's why we designed this traction bar kit, it works perfectly with the factory 4 link. This kit is designed with a axle pivot shackle, that allows the traction bar to pivot freely at the rear axle and not bind up. With this kit you can get the traction bar look without modifing the factory rear 4 link!
NOTE, THIS TRACTION BAR KIT IS FOR "LOOKS" ONLY, IT DOES NOT ACT AS A TRACTION BAR TO PREVENT AXLE WRAP. We have longarm 4 link kits available for those needing to fix axle wrap issues.
The pipe style traction bar is made from 1.875'' OD tube.
The showstyle kits are made from 1/4'' thick high grade P&O plate, precision laser cut, CNC formed and precision welded and cleaned. The stainless overlay option comes with bolt-on, #8 mirror finish stainless overlays, which bolt on with buttonhead stainless steel bolts for a super clean look.
Both styles feature our bolt-on frame brackets and bolt-on axle brackets. ZERO cutting or welding required to install! Both style of bars are fully adjustable at the frame side, making installation a breeze!
Both kits come with adjustable poly bushings at the frame end, and poly bushing at the axle side.
All the mounting brackets are made out of 1/4” P&O steel and are ready to bolt to your frame and axle.
The bar length is 60'' or 66'', (bolt to bolt, preset length due to limited mounting positions)
This kit fits any and all lift sizes from stock to 16'' lifts.
