We have the perfect upgrade for you! Our heavy duty 2003-2013 Dodge RAM crossover steering upgrade kit is a huge upgrade from the factory style steering.

 

Our steering does not have weak, failure prone ball joints, but instead it has fully adjustable and replaceable high precision heim joints.

 

Each 7/8'' heim joint is made out of chromoly heat treated steel, and has a static deformation load of 55,000 lbs. and a breaking strength of over 75,000 lbs. That's a insane amount of load stress so you’ll never have to worry about a heim breaking. We have hardcore tested these kits and heims for over 10 years without one ever failing.

 

The heims we use are top of the line, FK Bearing heim joints, featuring a F1 high precision fit, teflon PTFE lined for many years of use, as well as super quite operation compared to other chinese made joints. All 100% made in the USA!

 

 

LIFETIME WARRANTY on the welded steel parts! We guarantee the tube and welds against failure for life. (valid to original purchaser only, heims and hardware are not covered)

 

 

Each end of the steering links is adjustable and individually replaceable, making it affordable to rebuild the steering.

 

 

Each tierod is precisely bent on our CNC mandrel bender to offer optimal clearance on any aftermarket deep pan diff covers or dual shock setups.

 

 

The kit is available to fit different lift sizes, years and models and also available with single or dual stabilizer shocks brackets.

 

If you plan on running stabilizer shocks, you will need to select the shock options you need.

 

THIS KIT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE FACTORY STABILIZER SHOCK BRACKET.

 

To run just 1x shock you must buy a axle mount shock bracket, or if you already have dual shocks select "TIEROD CENTER BRACKET ONLY'',  click  HERE  for the axle shock brackets.

 

 

If you want to run dual steering shocks simply select  "DUAL SHOCK BRACKET KIT"  and the steering will come with a prewelded tierod center bracket and dual Bolt-on axle shock mount brackets.

 

 

 

Available for 2003-2013  2500-3500, 4wd  models with straight axle front ends. The kit will NOT fit 1500 rams with a IFS or 2wd trucks.

 

This kit will not fit late 2013 and up 4th gens with the new style steering, steering for 2014 and up trucks is availabe on 2014-2026 Dodge Ram products page.

 

 

Drag link measurement that's required is from the Passenger side knuckle, (by the brake rotor and tire) to the pitman arm bolt center. Typical measurement should fall between 40-43''.

  • Heim size 7/8''  Chromoly steel, (55,000 lbs to deformation).

    We only use USA made, top of the line FK bearing heims.

     

    Bushings- 5/8'' hole, specific to each part location.

    Main bolt size- 5/8'' grade 8 fine thread with nylock nuts.

    Deavy duty DOM tube- 1/4'' wall x 1.50'' OD.

    Shock brackets- 1/4'' thick cold rolled steel, Lase cut and prewelded onto tierod. With 1/2'' bolt holes for standard shocks.

    5/8'' steel drill bit or reamer is needed to install. Professional install is highly recommended, preferably offroad shops that are familiar with heim joint steering kits.
